Buddy Biancalana jacked one out of the ballyard and Bret Saberhagen had an impressive outing at COMISKEY PARK as the Kansas City Royals beat the Chicago White Sox 3 to 1. 

Kansas City jumped on top to stay in the 3rd inning plating one baserunner on 2 base hits. Kansas City had 8 hits overall, while Chicago had 4. 

Saberhagen(15-7) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 8 innings. Dan Quisenberry was credited with his 28th save. Tom Seaver(14-10) ended up with the loss. He allowed 3 runs and 7 hits in 8 innings.
