August 21, 1985: Cardinals (72-48) at Astros (56-63)

First baseman Jack Clark cracked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and John Tudor pitched a complete game as the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Houston Astros by the score of 9 to 3 at Colt Stadium. 

Clark had a good evening at the plate. He ripped a solo home run in the 6th inning and cleared the fences for a two-run home run in the 8th inning. St. Louis totaled 15 hits on the night. 

Tudor(17-5) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 3 runs. The loss was charged to Bob Knepper(14-12). He gave up 5 runs and 8 hits in 1 inning.
