August 21, 1985: Twins (48-73) at Brewers (51-69)

Danny Darwin threw a 3 hit shutout at COUNTY STADIUM where the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Minnesota Twins by the score of 3 to 0. 

Darwin(13-11) was simply too much for the Minnesota batters. He surrendered only 3 hits and 3 walks in 9 innings. Darwin struckout 10 Minnesota batters. Milwaukee had only 6 hits for the game. 

The losing pitcher was Frank Viola(9-17). He pitched 7 and 2/3 innings allowing only 5 hits and no walks. 'He came out with good stuff,' George Bamberger said about Darwin. 'He threw the ball good from the first pitch on.'
