Kurt Kepshire tossed a complete game at FULTON CTY STADIUM where the smoking-hot St. Louis Cardinals beat the Atlanta Braves 10 to 2. 

St. Louis brought 8 runs across the plate in the 5th inning with the help of 10 hits. The crucial at-bat was provided by Willie McGee who quieted the crowd when he lost the ball over the fence for three runs. St. Louis finished with 17 hits in the victory. 

Kepshire(7-8) allowed 2 runs on the game. Zane Smith(6-10) was hit with the loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 9 runs in 4 and 2/3 innings. 

St. Louis continued their winnings ways improving their record to 74-48. They are 8-2 in their last ten games. With the loss, Atlanta has a record of 3-7 lately, 38-83, worst in the division overall.
