August 23, 1985: Orioles (62-59) at A's (50-73)

Mike Davis had 2 base hits and 2 RBI and Jose Rijo was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete game as the Oakland Athletics defeated the Baltimore Orioles by the score of 7 to 2 at OAKLAND COLISEUM. 

Oakland tallied 5 runs in the 5th inning when they came up with 4 base hits. The critical plate appearance was by Mickey Tettleton who brought the crowd to their feet when he brought the hometown folks to their feet with a Grand Slammer. Oakland had 7 hits for the night. 

Rijo(14-5) was the winner allowing 2 runs for the game. Ken Dixon(4-10) was given the loss. He was touched for 7 hits and 5 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.
