August 27, 1985: Giants (55-70) at Expos (59-68)

Second baseman Ricky Adams had 3 base hits and Mike Krukow didn't allow a hit until the 9th inning at OLYMPIC STADIUM where the San Francisco Giants beat the Montreal Expos 7 to 0.

Krukow(7-15) was indeed brilliant as he hand-cuffed the Montreal offense. He was stingy on the mound, allowing just 1 hit and no walks in 9 innings. Krukow chalked up 10 strikeouts. The right-handed Krukow had his no-hit bid broken up by Tim Raines who doubled with two outs in the 9th inning. San Francisco finished with 9 hits in the victory.

Bill Laskey(3-6) absorbed the loss. 'All of my pitches were working tonight,' Krukow said. 'I felt really good out there, and heck, I think I could have gone longer.'
