August 29, 1985: Phillies (53-74) at Dodgers (77-51)

In a thriller the very strong Los Angeles Dodgers staged a dramatic comeback over the Philadelphia Phillies winning by a score of 3 to 2 at DODGER STADIUM. 

Los Angeles came through with the game-winning runs in the 9th inning scoring 2 runs using 2 hits. After an out was recorded, Mike Scioscia keyed the rally when he drew a walk. Dave Anderson came to the plate and delivered a one-base hit. Steve Yeager then drew a walk to load the bases. Mariano Duncan stepped in and he singled giving Los Angeles the victory and sending the 45,377 home-town fans home happy. Both teams finished the game with 9 hits. 

The victory was credited to Bobby Castillo(5-3) who went 1 inning, allowing no runs. Kent Tekulve(1-4) was charged with the loss in relief. He gave up 2 runs in 1/3 of an inning and saw his ERA jump from 3.09 to 3.38.
