September 3, 1985: White Sox (64-66) at Royals (75-56)

Steve Balboni cracked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Kansas City Royals topped the Chicago White Sox by a score of 10 to 5 at ROYALS STADIUM. 

Balboni had a good evening at the plate. He lofted a solo-blast in the 5th inning and popped a two-run bomb over the fence in the 7th inning. Kansas City had a total of 12 hits for the game. 

Charlie Leibrandt(14-9) was the winner allowing 5 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings. Leibrandt got help from Mike Jones who earned his 3rd save. Britt Burns(10-15) was given the loss. He was hit hard and gave up 5 hits and 2 walks in 2 innings.
