Frobel really lit it up for Montreal. The Los Angeles fans let him have it for what he did to their boys. He blasted a two-run home run in the 2nd inning, laced a base-hit in the 4th inning and lost the ball over the fence for three runs in the 6th inning. Montreal totaled 13 hits on the night.
It was the 2nd shutout of the year for Schatzeder(9-5). Bob Welch(13-8) was given the loss. He was knocked around, surrendering 7 runs in 5 innings.
