Julio Franco had 3 base hits and 2 RBI and Keith Creel had an impressive outing at FENWAY PARK where the Cleveland Indians beat the Boston Red Sox by the score of 6 to 3. 

Cleveland promptly took the lead in their half of the first scoring one runner using 3 hits. Cleveland finished with 17 hits while Boston ended up with 3. 

Creel(1-5) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 8 innings. Creel was helped out by Tom Waddell who recorded his 15th save. Roger Clemens(14-10) was hit with the loss. He got hammered, allowing 10 hits and 2 walks in 5 and 1/3 innings.
