September 8, 1985: Twins (57-80) at Blue Jays (84-53)

Second baseman Damaso Garcia slammed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at EXHIBITION STADIUM as the potent Toronto Blue Jays beat the Minnesota Twins in 10 innings by the count of 4 to 2. 

The score was tied at 2 after nine. Toronto ended up winning it in the 10th inning. Jesse Barfield led off and he drew a walk. After an out was recorded, Garcia came up and he blasted a two-run home run resulting in an exciting win for Toronto and a wild post-game celebration by the home town fans. Toronto finished with just 6 hits in the victory. 

Dennis Lamp(5-6) got the win allowing no runs in 1 inning. Pete Filson(4-6) was the losing pitcher in relief. He gave up 1 hit and 1 walk in 1/3 of an inning.
