September 10, 1985: Yankees (79-59) at Brewers (62-76)

Joe Cowley pitched a complete game and Ron Hassey connected with a 'big fly' and had 4 RBI at COUNTY STADIUM as the New York Yankees beat the Milwaukee Brewers by the count of 8 to 2.

The Milwaukee fans didn't appreciate the big day Hassey had. He doubled plating two runs in the 2nd inning and lifted one out of the park for a two run home run in the 7th inning. New York banged out 10 hits on the night.

Cowley(10-10) was the winner allowing 2 runs for the game. Danny Darwin(13-14) took the loss. He pitched 7 innings and surrendered 7 hits and no walks.
