September 11, 1985: Tigers (82-57) at Blue Jays (87-53)

The Toronto Blue Jays scored 6 runs in the 1st inning and had an easy time of it at EXHIBITION STADIUM defeating the Detroit Tigers by a score of 9 to 4. 

Toronto took the lead off Walt Terrell in the first inning as they scored 6 runs on 6 base hits. That early scoring was all that Doyle Alexander(18-9) needed. Toronto had 10 hits for the game and Detroit had 6. 

Terrell(16-8) was charged with the loss. He surrendered 7 hits and no walks in 1 inning.
