Rick Honeycutt had an impressive outing and Pedro Guerrero jacked one out of the ballyard and had 4 RBI at FULTON CTY STADIUM as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves 8 to 1. 

Honeycutt(10-6) put on a good performance. He surrendered only 3 hits and 1 walk in 8 innings. Los Angeles had 16 hits for the game and Atlanta had 3. 

The losing pitcher was Rick Mahler(10-15). Los Angeles scored big getting 7 runs off him in 3 and 2/3 innings.
