September 9, 1985: Giants (59-77) at Astros (66-70)

Jeff Leonard hit one over the fence and had 2 RBI at Colt Stadium as the San Francisco Giants beat the Houston Astros in 10 innings by the count of 3 to 1. 

The game was deadlocked at 1 after nine full innings. San Francisco ended up winning it in the 10th inning. After two outs Chris Brown got things rolling when he doubled. Leonard followed and he clubbed a two-run home run. San Francisco rapped out 11 hits for the night. 

The winning pitcher was Mark Davis(2-3) who allowed no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings. Davis got help from Scott Garrelts who earned his 3rd save. Frank Dipino(4-1) suffered the loss in relief. He pitched 1 inning giving up 2 hits and 2 walks.
