September 19, 1985: Pirates (66-80) at Expos (70-76)

Jose Deleon(10-16) and David Palmer(7-14) treated the Montreal fans to a fine pitching duel at OLYMPIC STADIUM. The Pittsburgh Pirates eventually emerged as victors over the Montreal Expos by the score of 3 to 1.

Pittsburgh did all the necessary damage in the 6th inning as they scored 3 runs on 4 base hits. The highlight belonged to Mike Brown who deflated the crowd as he stroked a single scoring two baserunners. The teams had been locked in a scoreless duel until the 6th inning.

Cecilio Guante was credited with his 31st save.
