September 19, 1985: Angels (61-85) at White Sox (72-73)

Luis Salazar slammed a homerun at COMISKEY PARK where the Chicago White Sox beat the California Angels 5 to 4. 

California was unable to climb back into it after Chicago went ahead for good in the bottom of the 6th inning plating one baserunner. California had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short. 

Tom Seaver(18-10) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 7 innings. Seaver got help from Bob James who earned his 32nd save. Jim Slaton(9-17) was the loser.
