Tim Wallach left the yard and had 4 RBI at BUSCH STADIUM as the Montreal Expos beat the St. Louis Cardinals 6 to 4. 

Wallach had a big day against St. Louis. He doubled resulting in a run in the 1st inning, lashed a single in the 4th inning and lofted a three-run homer in the 5th inning. Montreal finished with 10 hits while St. Louis ended up with 6. 

The win was credited to Dan Schatzeder(11-5) who went 6 innings allowing 2 runs. Jeff Reardon recorded his 25th save. The loss was charged to Joaquin Andujar(15-14). He gave up 8 hits and no walks in 5 innings.
