September 20, 1985: Tigers (88-59) at Red Sox (86-61)

First baseman Darrell Evans blasted 2 homeruns and had 6 RBI as the Detroit Tigers defeated the Boston Red Sox 13 to 5 at FENWAY PARK. 

Evans propelled Detroit to victory. He lofted a three-run bomb in the 1st inning, clubbed a two-run home run in the 3rd inning, banged out a single which scored a run in the 5th inning and ripped a one-base hit in the 9th inning. Detroit had 18 hits for the game and Boston had 11. 

Jack Morris(18-9) went 7 innings allowing 4 runs for the victory. The losing pitcher was Bob Ojeda(10-6). He allowed Detroit 6 runs in 2 innings of work.
