September 22, 1985: Mariners (73-76) at Rangers (72-76)

Dave Henderson lofted one into the 'cheap seats' and had 4 RBI at ARLINGTON STADIUM where the Seattle Mariners beat the Texas Rangers by the score of 9 to 6. 

Henderson had a big day against Texas. He clubbed a two-run home run in the 4th inning, lined a single plating two runs in the 5th inning and lined a base-hit in the 7th inning. Seattle had 14 hits for the night while Texas had 11. 

Matt Young(17-12) picked up the victory, allowing 6 runs in 6 innings. Roy Thomas got the save, his 14th. Dickie Noles(9-9) suffered the loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 6 runs in 4 and 1/3 innings.
