September 24, 1985: Red Sox (87-64) at Blue Jays (96-55)

Dave Stieb shutout Boston while allowing the Toronto bullpen a day-off at EXHIBITION STADIUM as the spectacular Toronto Blue Jays beat the Boston Red Sox by the count of 5 to 0. 

Stieb(28-6) was tremendous on the mound for Toronto. He was stingy on the mound, allowing just 4 hits and 3 walks in 9 innings. Toronto finished with 9 hits in the victory. 

The loss was charged to Al Nipper(10-14). He surrendered 5 runs and 8 hits in 6 innings.
