Harold Baines launched 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at ANAHEIM STADIUM as the Chicago White Sox beat the California Angels by the count of 10 to 3.

Baines was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine day at their team's expense. He rifled a three-run blast in the 2nd inning and cracked a solo homerun in the 4th inning. Chicago banged out 11 hits on the night.

The victory was credited to Floyd Bannister(15-14) who went 7 innings, allowing 2 runs. Ron Romanick(10-18) took the loss. He pitched 1 inning allowing 5 hits and 4 walks.
