September 27, 1985: Cardinals (94-60) at Expos (75-79)

Andy Van Slyke lofted one into the 'cheap seats' and had 3 RBI as the St. Louis Cardinals topped the Montreal Expos by a score of 6 to 2 at OLYMPIC STADIUM.

Montreal found themselves trailing quickly as the St. Louis bats came through in the first inning as they scored 3 runs on 3 base hits. That early scoring held up. St. Louis finished with 10 hits in the victory.

Kurt Kepshire(8-10) picked up the victory, allowing 2 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings. Bill Gullickson(11-17) was charged with the loss. He allowed 7 hits and 2 walks in 7 innings.
