September 27, 1985: Royals (83-69) at Twins (67-87)

Frank Viola had an impressive outing as the Minnesota Twins won at METRODOME in dramatic fashion over the Kansas City Royals, the final score, 4 to 2. 

Minnesota erupted with the game winning runs in the 9th inning with 2 runs on 2 base hits. Tim Teufel led off and started the rally when he ripped a base-hit. Mike Stenhouse next to the plate and he bombed a two-run dinger giving Minnesota the victory as 17,244 happy fans celebrated wildly. Minnesota rapped out 8 hits for the night. 

Viola(15-17) got the victory, allowing 2 runs for the game. Bret Saberhagen(17-9) ended up with the loss.
