October 3, 1985: Braves (48-111) at Dodgers (94-66)

In a dramatic ending at DODGER STADIUM the mighty Los Angeles Dodgers won in their last at-bat beating the awful Atlanta Braves by the count of 4 to 3. 

Los Angeles scored the deciding run in the 9th inning. Ken Landreaux hit a single. Bill Madlock struck out, unable to help the rally. Pedro Guerrero then lashed a single. After another out, Bob Bailor came to the plate and slapped a single making Los Angeles the winners and sending the 46,707 fans home happy. Los Angeles finished with 12 hits in the victory. 

Carlos Diaz(2-3) allowed no runs in 1 inning, and picked up the victory. Gene Garber(1-3) ended up with the loss in relief. He surrendered 1 run and 5 hits in 2 and 1/3 innings.
