September 3, 1985: Braves (41-91) at Pirates (60-72)

R.J. Reynolds had 2 base hits as the Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the lifeless Atlanta Braves by a score of 7 to 1 at Forbes Field. 

Pittsburgh started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of the first when they scored 2 runs on 3 hits. That early scoring held up. Pittsburgh totaled 10 hits on the night. 

The victory was credited to Don Robinson(6-2) who went 6 and 1/3 innings, allowing 1 run. Rick Camp(4-10) ended up with the loss. He allowed 8 hits and 2 walks in 5 and 2/3 innings. 

With the win Pittsburgh now has a record of 60-72. With the loss Atlanta now has a record of 41-91, worst in the division.
