Rick Honeycutt(9-6) pitched well for Los Angeles in their victory. He was reached for 5 hits and 1 walk in 7 innings. Los Angeles had 10 hits overall, while Montreal had 7. 

Honeycutt got help from Ken Howell who was credited with his 7th save. Bryn Smith(9-14) was the losing pitcher. He allowed 3 runs and 7 hits in 7 innings.
