September 14, 1985: Dodgers (86-56) at Reds (74-67)

Jay Tibbs tossed a shutout as the Cincinnati Reds bested the Los Angeles Dodgers 1 to 0 at Crosley Field. 

Tibbs(11-16) was simply too much for the Los Angeles batters. He didn't give up much, just 6 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings. Cincinnati managed only 4 hits on the night. 

Jerry Reuss(13-11) was the losing pitcher. He allowed 4 hits and 2 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings.
