September 14, 1985: White Sox (68-73) at Mariners (70-72)

The Chicago White Sox enjoyed a blow-out, pounding the Seattle Mariners pitchers for 13 while Tom Seaver(17-10), with relief help from Juan Agosto, surrendered 2 runs to Seattle. 

Chicago went ahead for good in the top of the 2nd inning as they scored 2 runs on 2 base hits. The critical plate appearance was by Bryan Little who disappointed the partisan crowd when he ripped a base-knock plating two runs. Chicago had 12 hits overall, while Seattle had 8. 

Mark Langston(13-12) was hit with the loss. He was pinned with the loss despite not allowing an earned run in his 5 and 1/3 innings of work. 

Chicago now has a record of 68-73. With this loss, Seattle has a 3-7 record of late, 70-72 overall.
