September 17, 1985: Cubs (72-73) at Expos (69-75)

It was a great finish at OLYMPIC STADIUM as the Montreal Expos pulled off a dramatic comeback beating the Chicago Cubs by the count of 6 to 5. 

Montreal had the winning rally in the 9th inning with 3 runs on 4 hits. After an out was recorded, Vance Law kicked off the action when he doubled. Andre Dawson stepped up next and he tripled resulting in a run. U.L. Washington then tripled scoring another run. Scot Thompson followed next and he ripped a base-knock giving Montreal the win much to the delight of the home town crowd. Montreal finished with 14 hits in the victory. 

Tim Burke(3-7) allowed no runs in 1 inning, and picked up the victory. Lee Smith(1-5) suffered the loss in relief.
