1985 ALCS Game 2: Royals (0-2) at Blue Jays (2-0)

Doyle Alexander shutout Kansas City while allowing the Toronto bullpen a day-off as the Toronto Blue Jays ballclub embarrassed the Kansas City Royals by the count of 13 to 0. 

The Toronto fans enjoyed the offense provided by Damaso Garcia. He laced a one-base hit in the 1st inning, rifled a three-run blast in the 7th inning and lined a base-hit knocking in a run in the 8th inning. Toronto managed 17 hits in their victory. 

Alexander(1-0) was credited with the shutout. Charlie Leibrandt(0-1) was the losing pitcher. He was touched for 8 hits and 2 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.
