1985 ALCS Game 3: Blue Jays (3-0) at Royals (0-3)

In a two run game the Toronto Blue Jays got by the Kansas City Royals by the score of 6 to 4. 

Toronto jumped out to the early lead in the first inning as they scored 3 runs on 3 base hits. The crucial at-bat was provided by Cliff Johnson who silenced the crowd when he belted a three-run homer. Toronto banged out 10 hits on the afternoon. 

Jimmy Key(1-0) went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 4 runs for the win. Tom Henke preserved the game for Key, recording his his 2nd save. Bud Black(0-1) was the loser.
