April 10, 1985 Game 21: Blue Jays at Royals

What a fun series this is going to be the Royals and Blue Jays are said to be a couple of the best teams in the American League this year along with The Tigers. It was a bit chilly today at Royals stadium but the teams were hoping that their offenses would warm them up. The Royals would get on the board early. Dane Iorg would scorch a two out Single and Jorge Orta would hit a ball into the fountain giving the Royals a 2-0 lead. That would be all the could get off Doyle Alexander as he would scatter 7 hits throughout the game. THe Blue Jays were able to get to Danny Jackson. The would get one in the 3rd due in part to a costly error by Dane Iorg. THe would get 3 in the 5th when Lloyd Moseby would Double home Garth Iorg and then George Bell would rip a Double the would score Moseby and Garcia and the Blue Jays were up 4-2. The Blue Jays would snneak a couple more across in the 9th when Moseby would Single home Buck Martinez and Bell would bounce out to Frank White and Tony Fernandez would score. Doyle Alexander was sharp tonight would give up only 1 walk to go with the 7 hits and he would strikeout 6 The final score was 6-2 Blue Jays
