April 15, 1985 Game 67: White Sox (2-2) at Red Sox (3-2)

Game 3 of a 3 game series and both teams were looking to take the rubber match as they split the first games. Tom Seaver in search for his second win would go up against Bruce Hurst who was looking for his first. The White Sox would have an offensive explosion as they would crush Red Sox pitching.  They would light up the Red Sox pitchers for 16 runs. 

The White Sox would get 5 in the 2nd.  Fisk would hit a 2-run HR, Hulett would double scoring Walker and Salazar.  Hulett would later score on a Guiterrez error. The Red Sox would make it 5-1 in the 4th on a Rice Home Run.

The White Sox would extended their lead to 8-1 in the 5th.  Kittle would double scoring Baines.  Walker SAC FLY to Armas scoring Fisk.  Salazar would double scoring Kittle.  The Red Sox score one in the 5th to make it 8-2 when Rice singles scoring Boggs.  In the 6th a Baines single would score Cruz and Paciorek would bonce into a 3-1 FC Fletcher.  Baines would be  thrown out at the plate by Evans and it's now 10-2

The White Sox would continue their onslaught in the 8th when a single by Walker scores Paciorek.  Salazar would single scoring Fisk.  CRawford would issue a bases loaded walk to Cruz  would score Kittle, he would issue another walk to Fletcher would score Walker and it is now 14-2.  The Red Sox would finally get to Seaver in the 8th and chase him from the game.  Armas would homer, Gedman would single scoring Buckner, Boggs would single scoring Gedman making it 14-5.

In the 9th the White Sox would get 2 more on a Fisk HR.  His second of the game.  THe Red Sox get another one more to make it 16-6 when Gedman doubles to score Armas.

All nine White Sox hitters would get a hit, run, and a RBI

Fisk would go 4-6 2 HR and 4 RBI
Salazar 5-6 2b and 2 RBI
