April 22, 1985 Game 148: Phillies (6-5) at Expos (5-6)

The Philles are coming back to earth after a hot start. The Expos are looking to get hot as they can't seem to find solid ground. They would send Joe Hesketh to the mound and the Phillies send Shane Rawley. We would see same good pitching today as this was a tight one until the 8th.

In the 2nd The Expos score a lone run as Francona would single scoring Brooks from 2nd after he doubled. In the 8th the Phillies would tie it up. Jeltz and Samuel walk and Maddox singles scoring Jeltz.

The Expos break the game open the bottom of the 8th. Hesketh and Dawson walk, Brooks doubles and Hesketh scores. Francona walks to load the bases. Wallach singles, Dawson and Brooks score to make it 4-1. Reardon works the 9th and he would walk 1 and strikeout 2 to earn his 4th save.
