April 22, 1985 Game 150: Cubs (5-6) at Pirates (6-5)

The Pirates are hoping to rebound after getting swept by the Cardinals and the Cubs want to get back to .500. The Pirates send Larry McWilliams to toe the rubber and stop the skid. The Cubs will send Dick Ruthven to the hill.

In the 1st the Pirates get on the board. Ray would walk Orsulak bounces in a 4-3 FC advancing Ray to 2nd. Morrison doubles and Ray scores easily to make it 1-0.

The Cubs tie it up in the 2nd Durham singles, Lake doubles puttivng runners at 2nd and 3rd. Dunston singles and that scores Durham. THe Cubs take the lead in the 3rd, Dernier singles and steals 2nd, Moreland smack a 2-out double and that scores Dernier and it's 2-1 Cubs.

The Pirates tie it in the 5th when with Ray on 2nd Morrison singles and Ray scores and its 2-2. The Pirates take the lead in the 6th. Brown singles, Pena doubles, Khalifa hits a slow roller to 1st for the fielders choice and Brown scores to make it 3-2. The Pirates get 1 more in the 8th as Brown hits a solo homer off of George Frazier to make it 4-2
