April 24, 1985 Game 174: Tigers (7-5) at Indians (4-9)

The Tigers haven't played well against the lowly Indians and today they send Walt Terrell out to face Neal Heaton who has pitched well so far for the Indians.

In the 1st the Indians score 2 when Butler doubles, Hall singles with 1-out and Butler scores. Tabler induces a walk and Vuckovich hits a 2-out double that scores Hall and the Indians are up 2-0. In the 3rd Vuckovich makes it 5-0 with a 2-out 3 run homer off of Terrell.

The Tigers get 1 back in the 5th when Trammell singles with 1-out and Parrish rips a 2-out double to score hin and its now 5-1 Indians. The Tigers would get within a run in the 8th on a Sanchez 3 run homer to make it 5-4 and that would send Heaton to locker run clinging to a 1-run lead.

Easterly would work 1.1 innings to pick up his 1st save and prevserve the victory,
