In the 3rd the Twins get a single run off of Moore. Salas singles with 1-out and Hatcher hits a 2-out single, Hrbek doubles scoring Salas and the Twins lead it 1-0. THe Twins add another in the 8th. Puckett doubles, Hrbek singles and Puckett scores and its now 2-0 Twins.
Both Pitchers were brilliant today as they both brought their a-game. They were able to keep hitters guessing and had command of all of their pitches. Smithson was just able to get a couple of big outs and the Twins were able to capitalize on small mistakes by Moore.
