April 24, 1985 Game 180: Orioles (4-9) at Rangers (5-8)

The Rangers and the Orioles have split the first 2 games of this 3 game series.  The Orioles send Mike Boddicker who has been awful this season and the Rangers send Dave Rozema to the mound and he has been a surprise for the Rangers.

The Rangers pick up a run in the 3rd.  Wilkerson hits a hard grounder to Gross who can't handle it cleanly and is charged an error.  Harrah singles , Tolleson hits a 2-out single and Wilkerson comes around to score and its 1-0 Rangers.

In the 4th the Orioles tie the game when Lynn hits a Rozema fastball over the left field wall for an opposite field home run.  The Rangers take the lead in the 6th.  O'Brien singles, and advances on a passed ball, Gross commits his 2nd error of the game and Wright is on.  Slaught singles and O'Brien scores and it's 2-1 Rangers.

The Orioles tie it up in the 7th when Rayford singles, Dauer walks and a passed ball  advances the runners.  Ripken singles, Dauer scores and Dwyer is trown out at the plate by Wright.

In the 10th Slaught hits a 2-out 2 run Homer to win the game.
