April 26, 1985 Game 193: Braves (6-9) at Astros (5-11)

Great game in Houston today.  The Astros take on the Braves at the Astrodome and pitching was the story as Bob Knepper and Steve Bedrosian matched each other for 7 innings and the Astros came out on top.

In the 7th Mumphrey hits a solo homer, Bailey walks, Knepper hits a 2-out single, Doran singles to load the bases.  Bedrosian walks Bass forcing Bailey home and giving the Astros a 2-0 lead.

That would be all the offense that either team could muster and Knepper would earn his 1st win of the season while scattering 6 hits along the way and striking out 10.  Bedrosian was sharp but a couple of mistakes cost him the win

The Final Score 2-0 Astros
