April 26, 1985 Game 195: Padres (9-6) at Dodgers (8-9)

It was a packed house at Chavez Ravine today. 50,335 Dodger faithful came out to watch the Dodgers struggle against the mighty Padres.  5 of the Dodgers 9 losses have come at the hands of the Padres.  They look to Orel Hershiser to get a win.  But he would face Dave Dravecky who had other plans.

In the 4th Gwynn is safe at 2nd on a 2BE charged to Maldonado. Garvey doubles scoring Gwynn,  McReynolds singles with 2-outs scoring Garvey and The Padres have a 2-0 lead.

Dravecky is able to hold the Dodgers at bay and the Dodgers lose their sixth straight to the Padres and fall 2 games below .500.  The Padres however pick up their 10th win and are now tied for 1st with the Reds.
