The Rangers jump all over Steib in the 3rd. Slaught singles with 1-out, Wilkerson walks Harrah walks to load the bases. Tolleson singles with 2-outs and Slaught scores. Parrish doubles clearing the bases and giving the Rangers a 4-0 lead.

The Blue Jays strike back in the 5th. Whitt singles, Thornton singles, Fernandez singles and Whitt scores. Garcia singles Thornton scores, Mulliniks is safe at 2nd on a 2BE on Ward and Fernandez scores, Barfield hits a SACFLY to right and Garcia scores, Upshaw doubles and Mullinks scores giving the Blue Jays a 5-4 lead and sending Hough to the clubhouse. Henke works the 9th for his 4th save and the Blue Jays just keep on winning.
