Sutcliffe doubles, Matthews smacks a 2-out single scoring Sutcliffe. Durham then steps up and delivers a 2 run shot to give the Cubs a 4-0 lead.
In the 7th the Phillies mount their comeback. Schmidt and Virgil lead off the inning with back to back homers. Wilson singles, Schu get a pinch hit single, Jeltz singles to load the bases. Foley bounces into a 5-4 FC and Schu scores to make it 4-3. Lee Smith works the 9th for his 3rd save.
