May 3, 1985 Game: 266: Expos (10-11) at Braves (7-13)

The Braves are taking the Expos at Fulton County Stadium.  They send Rick Camp to the hill and the Expos counter with David Palmer.  This one was a wild affair and the defense for both teams was left in the clubhouse.

In the 2nd the Braves take advantage of the bad defense.  Murphy singles, Horner singles, Oberkfell is safe at first due to an E6 and Murphy scores.  Benedict singles and Horner scores.  Zuvella singles and advances to 3rd on Brooks's second error of the inning allowing Oberkfell and Benedict to score.  Ramirez hits a SACFLY to Center and Ramirez scores and the score is 5-0 Braves.

In the 3rd the Expos get on the board.  With runners on 1st and 2nd Brooks doubles and 1 will score to make it a 5-1.  In the 4th Komminsk draws a 2-out walk and Ramirez triples to score him and it is now 6-1.  THe Braves add to their lead in the 7th Komminsk doubles and Ramirez singles to put runners on the corners, Harper bounces into a 6-4 FC and Komminsk scores to make it 7-1.

The Braves mount their comeback in the 8th.  Dawson hits a 2 run homer and that sends Camp to the showers and Bruce Sutter takes over.  Thompson hits a double and Wallach singles to put runners on the corners.  Frobel then hits a SACFLY to right and Thompson scores to make it 7-4.

The Expos add one more in the 9th to make it 7-5 Braves lead and the Braves are able to hold onto the lead and get the win.
