May 3, 1985 Game 274: Dodgers (11-11) at Pirates (9-10)

The Dodgers and the Pirates will fight it out the Three Rivers today.  Jose DeLeon get the start for the Pirates and he has been great this year but they do not give him any run support.  Tommy Lasorda will start Rick Honeycutt and he as also been the victim of poor run support.

The Pirates open the scoring in the 3rd when Orsulak is safe at 1st on a Sax error, Ray singles, Thmpson singles scoring Orsulak and its 1-0 Pirates.  The Dodgers tie it up in the 5t on Brock's solo homer.  The Pirates take the lead in the bottom of the 5th when Ray singles, Almon singles and Ray races to 3rd.  Thompson bounces into a 6-4 FC and that will score Ray and it is now 2-1 Pirates.

The Dodgers tie it up in the 7th.  with runners on 1st and 2nd Landreaux hits a line drive to the right center gap.  Orsulak is on his horse and cathes up to it and it bounces of off his glove and they score it a 2BE and Brock scores.  The Dodgers take the lead in the 8th.  Guerrero walks, Scioscia singles, Brock walks to load the bases.  Sax walsk and that forces home Guerrero and gives the Dodgers a 3-2 lead.
