May 10, 1985 Game 346: Indians (11-15) at Rangers (9-16)

The Rangers face the Indians at the ballpark today and the Rangers have been awful the first month of the season and the surprise Indians look to continue their trend of being a pest.  Burt Hooton get the start for the Rangers and the surprising Neal Heaton takes the mound looking for his 5th win.

The Rangers take the early lead in the 1st on Parrish's 2-run homer to give the Rangers a 2-0 lead.  The Indians get a run in the 2nd, with 2 on and 2 out Butler hits a grounder to Wilkerson who throws it away and Willard scores to make it a 2-1 game. 

The Indians tie it in the 4th on Jacoby's solo homer.  The Indians break this game wide open.  Hargrove and Jacoby single.  Vukovich doubles scoring Hargrove.  Willard hits a grounder to Wilkerson and he throws it away for the 2nd time today and both Jacony and Vuckovich score.  Butler then hits a triple scoring Willard and Franco singles scoring Butler to make it a 7-2 game.

In the 9th the Rangers add a run.  Wright walks, Slaught hits a triple scoring Wright and makes it a 7-3 game.  Heaton finishes what he started for his 2nd complete game of the year.
