May 11, 1985 Game 354: Braves (11-15) at Expos (12-15)

There is something weird about hearing a baseball game in French and yet here in Montreal it is normal as the Expos take on the Braves.  Bryn Smith gets the start for the Expos and he is looking for his first win.  Rick Mahler get the start for the Braves.

Both teams would get a run in the 1st.  Perry leads off the game with a single, Oberkfell walks, Murphy then doubles scoring Perry and the Braves lead it 1-0.  The Expos answer back.  Law triples and would score on Dawson's SACFLY to right.  Smith would be lock in the rest of the game as he would not allow another run.

In the 3rd the Expos take the lead.  Raines would walk and steal 2nd.  Law would single and then Dawson bounces into a 3-6-3 double play and Law score to make it 2-1 Expos.  Then in the 4th Wallach is hit by a pitch,  Butera doubles, Smith singles scoring Wallach.  Raines then doubles and Butera scores and it is a 4-1 Expos lead.  Smith would get the complete game and pick up his 1st win of the season

The Final Score 4-1 Expos
