June 4, 1985: Pirates (19-28) at Reds (25-24)

John Stuper(4-4) and Jose Deleon(3-8) dueled it out with Stuper and the Cincinnati Reds coming out on top of the Pittsburgh Pirates by the score of 3 to 1. 

Cincinnati jumped out to the early lead in the first inning scoring 2 runners on 1 hit. That early run support was all that Stuper required. After the 4th inning, neither team was able to score. 

John Franco earned his 9th save.
