June 10, 1985: Cubs (31-22) at Expos (26-30)

The Montreal Expos registered 5 runs in the 8th inning and had an easy time of it at OLYMPIC STADIUM defeating the Chicago Cubs by a score of 10 to 4. 

Montreal went ahead for good in the 5th inning as they scored 3 runs on 4 base hits. The biggest moment was provided by Vance Law who brought the crowd to their feet when he doubled plating two runs. Montreal had 16 hits for the night while Chicago had 9. 

Bryn Smith(3-7) went 6 and 2/3 innings allowing 4 runs for the victory. Ray Fontenot(2-3) took the loss. He gave up 5 runs and 9 hits in 5 innings.
