June 14, 1985: Brewers (25-33) at Orioles (30-28)

The Milwaukee Brewers pitchers essentially took the day off at MEMORIAL STADIUM as the Baltimore Orioles offense erupted for 15 runs while Storm Davis(7-3), with relief help from Nate Snell, surrendered 3 runs to Milwaukee.

The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance provided by Floyd Rayford. He doubled in the 2nd inning, delivered a base-hit which brought home a run in the 3rd inning and bombed a two-run dinger in the 8th inning. Baltimore kept the scorekeepers busy in the 3rd inning which saw them score 4 runs on 4 hits and the 8th inning with 8 runs on 7 hits. Baltimore out-hit Milwaukee for the game, 17 hits to 8.

The loss was charged to Pete Vuckovich(1-3). He got hit hard, allowing 10 hits and 3 walks in 6 innings.
